So last night after what amounted to a pretty crappy day all together, my purse got stollen. At Trail Canyon Park. It was about 5 pm. I took the girls to the park after going to the beauty supply for a friend, lowes for chicken wire, and returning a carpet cleaner... I was tired and didn't want to go, but I was trying to be a good mom and let them play for 45 minutes. I locked the car and took my cell phone and keys. What I didn't know is that one of the girls had opened their windows (which they never do because they hate the wind blowing their hair around...) and left it down. Apparently the little scum of the earth life ruiner purse stealer fit nicely through the opening because my purse was gone off the front seat. Yes... it was on the front seat. I was at the park right by my house for crap sake!! I know I shouldn't have left it there, so if your comment even slightly resembles a "you shouldnt have left your purse on the front seat of your car...", then please be prepared to lose a limb. I already heard it from the police officer and he almost got shot with his own gun. I left the park, because a 12 year old kid was screaming profanities in front of my girls and as I asked him to stop his friend proceeded to tell me what I could do with my mom. (There was more, trust me.) My girls were horrified, as was I. Needless to say, I have very little respect for the human race right now. In my purse, was my DL, SS card, credit cards, check book, all of my store cards, costco card, $40 in cash, brand new wallet, a necklace, and a brand new $16 bottle of lip gloss. If anyone happens to find this in a dark alley, please kindly return to me and I will reward you with kind words because i'm sure the cash is gone.
Oh, and the TV in my room broke this morning. So now I have no choice but to watch Enchanted until my brain melts into a tiny pool of bubbly gray matter. At leat the profanities which are freequenting my thoughts will be burned too... See, something good comes from everything.

Oh, Brooke! I am so sorry! That sucks big time. I leave my purse in my car all the time. Even on the front seat so I pass zero judgment on that front. I know everything can be canceled and replaced, but what a hassle. And who do these little punks think they are? I hope that somehow today is a better day.
Geez, Brooke! I am sooo sorry to hear that! (Just as a reminder, that would have never happened in Salem....hahahaha just kidding.) Seriously though, I am truly sorry to hear about that....and the thing with the "big kids" is just as bad!!!!
Brooke, I am so sorry that happened. What a nightmare. I leave my purse in the car all the time. I absolutely cannot stand punk kids that think they rule the world. They drive me CRAZY!! I am so so so sorry about your day.
Yeah, I stopped carrying my purse because I leave it all over the place. That sucks something fierce. You should have punched those kids at the park, I am almost positive no one would have cared. Sorry man. Go have a drink. Thats what Eliza would do. Just kidding. Okay, I am stopping.
I would like to make it clear that while I do have a recently developed drinking problem, Seana and Nat are whiskey-puking alkies right along with me. And seriously, do it. It will make you feel better. I hope you told that kid what he could do with your mom, I mean his mom, well someone's mom.
I'm fine with it being my mom. Just for the record.
It wasn't that stupid. At least you didn't leave one of your kids in the car.
