The Host

Sci-fi is not generally not my cup of tea, however being a die hard Stephenie Meyer fan I couldn't resist. I was not dissapointed. It took me a while to get into the real meat of the story, but once I was hooked it was not unlike the Twilight series with walking while reading, staying up until 3 a.m., and finishing a 600 pg book in less than 3 days. I usually have an idea of how I want a book to end, but because of the brilliantly odd nature of her characters, I was constantly left just hoping and reading. I am very pleased with the ending and I reccomend this book to all Twilight fan's. I LOVE her love stories!!!! Oh, and if anyone want's to borrow it, there isn't near as much drool on it as there was my Twilight series, so it's fairly dry and up for grabs. ;)

I'm so glad you posted again! I was just about to leave a comment harassing you about that! I am in still towards the beginning of The Host but am loving it. I'm glad you liked it. We'll have to chat after I finish (probably tonight--after I force myself to get some laundry done!). I also wanted to say I love you FHE board on Saying it Simply. I ordered one too but not the cool chalkboard kind. Love it! And keep posting! I always look forward to your posts.

I LOVE IAN!! To truly see inside a woman for who she is, and completely disregard the physical attraction is... well... unhuman, but it certainly makes for a nice story. He is wonderful!!

I am still debating whether or not to read it. I don't generally do sci-fi either, but I've heard good things.

I didn't LOVE this book as much as the Twilight books, but I definitely liked it!! I think it was a really DEEP book! Lots of character development. I was impressed by her writing. I also really liked Ian!!! What a great guy!

Definitely worth reading! I was so happy with how it ended!
